Forged Steel Sculptures for Singita Lebombo

I was approached by Cecile and Boyd Interior Design and comissioned to create four sculptures which would be used as a part of their latest installation at Singita Lebombo. Working in collaboration with Striking Metal Blacksmithing Forge, we were able to produce forged steel sculptures that were sculpted with the finest detail. From working drawings to the end product, the sculptures far exceeded my expectations with the way in which they came to life.These sculptures would not have been possible without the assistance and dedication of Kashief Booley of Striking Metal Forge, a bespoke Blacksmith with an eye for detail and a passion for the ancient craft of blacksmithing. A Master of note ! His Blacksmithing Forge at the foot of the Swartberg in Prince Albert is well worth the visit.
